Theatre West Vocalists
Victoria Lavan is an accomplished singer, actor, award-winning director, and teacher. Her performance career spans 30 years and includes opera, symphony, concert, music theatre, cabaret, and theatre credits. Directing credits at Theatre West include Love, Actually, Winter Wishes, the award-winning So Many Stars, and The Age of Aquarius 1967–1972. Her solo show, Dance Me to the End of Love: My Love Affair with Music, was performed at Theatre West in April 2024. Victoria is an Estill Master Trainer and Director of Vocal Health at AMDA College of the Performing Arts, and she proudly serves Theatre West as moderator for the Betty Garrett Musical Theatre Workshop.
John A. Goux is a ninth-generation Southern Californian but spent most of his growing-up years in Seattle, Washington. After earning a master’s degree in music and media, he began his career as a professional musician and full professor of music at Seattle Pacific University, where he performed and taught music and mathematics for 39 years. John is a published writer for the Mercedes-Benz Club of America. California Soul: A Descendant’s Story, his debut novel, is historical fiction based on his own family history. John Goux is a direct descendant of 10 of the 44 settlers who founded Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara in the late eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. A staged reading of scenes from California Soul was produced at Theatre West in October 2024. In September, John co-created and served as music supervisor for the sold-out musical event The Age of Aquarius 1967–1972.
Lily Cadot is a French-born actress and singer based in Los Angeles. She has been cast in a variety of musical theatre productions and has appeared in feature, independent, and short films. Lily is also a writer and producer, having created both a musical and an original cabaret show. She is deeply grateful to be part of Broadway Bound and to collaborate with such an inspiring group of artists. Lily would like to thank her husband, family, friends, and artistic coaches for their unwavering support. Merci beaucoup for being here tonight—enjoy the show!

Emily Fabretti (she/they) is an altruistic artist hailing from Spring Hill, Florida, with a knack for storytelling, a keen ear for musicality, and an unwavering commitment to expression. Emily wields their extensive theoretical toolkit across a variety of mediums, including acting, dancing, singing, writing, and directing. As a dedicated storyteller, Emily excels at manifesting the subconscious into reality. Their focus on collaborating with passionate artists keeps them on a continuous journey of spiritual connection and creative innovation.
Coko Kirton was born in Barbados and raised by a family that thrived on creativity. Performing has always been a part of her life, it is one of the most important things to her in this world. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Theatrical Performance in 2024, and since then she has been taking every chance she can get to be on stage. Coko is very excited to be a part of Broadway Bound, especially as it’s her first production with Theatre West. She hopes she can inspire at least one person in the audience to continue to support theatre in Los Angeles, as there is so much talent waiting to be seen!
Scottie Nevil recently returned from New York City, making her Off-Broadway debut in Sally Spectre: The Musical. After graduating from UCLA, she performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at Disney Concert Hall and trained in cabaret performance under Lainie Kazan. Scottie was part of the original production team for Heathers: The Musical (2013 Los Angeles workshop production and 2014 Off-Broadway production). She is also a founding member of the theatre ensemble Devised Puppetry Project, where actors use recycled materials and shadow play to explore the creation and destruction of life onstage. She thanks her parents for their ever-loving support.
Constance Mellors is thrilled to be part of another musical event at Theatre West. A longtime Theatre West member, she most recently co-starred in Moose on the Loose. She studied at the Neighborhood Playhouse with Sanford Meisner and has appeared in many Off-Broadway productions and episodic television roles. Thank you for coming and supporting live theatre.

Michael Gabiano has performed on stages in 46 U.S. states and has premiered multiple new works in New York City, Los Angeles, and regional theatres. He has also appeared in television, film, and commercials. He last appeared at Theatre West in Mark Wilding’s The Loan for WestFest and in the 2005 production of Saturday Night at Grossinger’s.
Recent Los Angeles stage performances include the world premieres of Clara Rodriguez’s Normal Noises (GRT) and Listing (Theatre Forty). He is a proud member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA.
David Mingrino has appeared in more than 100 stage productions, including the world premieres of Walking in Space, The Man Who Saved Everything, and Verdigris at Theatre West. Other credits include Room Service, which received six Ovation nominations, including Best Ensemble. Musical roles in summer stock and dinner theatre include Motel in Fiddler on the Roof, the Emcee in Cabaret, and “Steam Heat” in The Pajama Game. He thanks Victoria Lavan for helping him find his voice again and his husband Michael for riding this roller coaster with him for the past 29 years.
Vertreace Sanders is a singer, recording artist, actress, model, writer, and performer from Flora, Mississippi. She studied musical theatre at the American Musical & Dramatic Academy, graduating from the conservatory program in New York in 2021 and earning her BFA from AMDA College of the Performing Arts in Los Angeles in 2024. In 2020 she was featured on the BET Soul Train Awards after being handpicked by Jazmine Sullivan following a viral TikTok video. She was later mentored by Grammy-winning producer Zaytoven, known for working with Usher and Nicki Minaj. She continues to grow her audience of more than 60,000 followers online while building a career in music and performance.
Harleigh Ford discovered her love of performing at a young age and went on to earn a BFA in Musical Theatre from AMDA. Since then she has performed internationally in musicals, concerts, and cabarets, appearing both on land and at sea as a lead production singer with Princess Cruises. Highlights include Stephen Schwartz’s Magic to Do, Rent (Maureen), Les Misérables (Éponine), and performances at New York’s iconic 54 Below. Theatre West audiences may also remember her from So Many Stars and Winter Wishes. Love and thanks to Victoria!
Anibal Silveyra is an award-winning performer who received the ACE Award for Best Actor in a Musical for Kiss of the Spider Woman (directed by Harold Prince), Best Actor in a Musical for Closer Than Ever at the Knightsbridge Theatre, and the Stage Raw Theatre Award for Best Musical Ensemble for Sweeney Todd. His film, television, and theatre credits include Evita, Sweeney Todd, Into the Woods, Blood Brothers, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Pointy Scissors.
Michael Van Duzer has directed numerous Los Angeles productions, including As You Like It, Edward II, The Lisbon Traviata, and In On It. He also directed his plays Hopeful Romantic, Recalled to Life, and Tawdry Tales. At Theatre West he directed The Man Who Saved Everything and many WestFest productions. His play Incitation to the Dance opened at Theatre West in 2026. As a performer he appeared in Sons of God, Winter Wishes, So Many Stars, Clive and Cecily, and both the Theatre West and Off-Broadway productions of Our Man in Santiago, winning a Robby Award for his portrayal of Henry Kissinger.
Cody Kelepolo is beyond thrilled to return to Theatre West! His previous credits include Grease (Kenickie — VOPA), Winter Wishes (Theatre West), Thadius Steed (Theatre West), Beauty and the Beast (Moonlight Amphitheatre), The Bodyguard (Frank Farmer — AMDA), The Who’s Tommy (Tommy/Narrator — Norris Theatre), Aida (Radamès — AMDA), Ghost (Sam — AMDA), and Fame (Nick — AMDA). Alyssa Rupert (Guest Artist) is a singer/actress with extensive vocal training in many genres. She graduated with her BFA in Musical Theatre from AMDA College. Recent credits: Lead Vocalist (AIDA Cruises), Skullduggery (Sacred Fools), Invisible (54 Below NY/Director: Marc Kudisch), Spitfire Grill (Theatre Palisades). Favorite credits include providing background vocals for Kristin Chenoweth & the LA Philharmonic Orchestra at the Hollywood Bowl & singing/appearing in YouTube’s Dear Class of 2020 Music Video with artist Shawn Mendes & choreographer Mandy Moore. Alyssa has performed as a professional caroler with Good Time Productions at Disney’s exclusive Club 33.
Zach Gordon is a singer-songwriter and actor based in Los Angeles. With a career spanning nearly two decades and close to 100 film and television credits, Zach is no stranger to the entertainment industry. At age 11, he starred in the film adaptation of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid book series, which grossed hundreds of millions of dollars at the box office and established him as one of the top up-and-coming movie stars of his generation.
In February 2023, Zach independently released his debut single, “Time Bomb,” which garnered millions of streams in less than two months. Through his gift for storytelling, Zach translates his unique life experience into songs that are authentic, eloquently specific, and universally relatable. He is currently working on his debut EP, with an already dedicated fan base eagerly awaiting his next release.
Jan Roper is a native Southern Californian who has worked primarily as a theatrical composer and music director throughout her career. Her theater work was launched by the full-scale production of her original rock opera, Jerusalem A.D., which was produced for four years during the Easter season to sold-out audiences.
Other original musical works include América Tropical, about a fictional Mexican American family in 1932 Los Angeles and the cultural tensions of the Depression era. The piece won the Raise Your Voice Award in 2020 and has since had four staged readings, with two productions in Los Angeles and two in New York City. América Tropical was also a finalist for the 2022 Jonathan Larson Grant, a semifinalist for the O’Neill Theater Center’s National Music Theater Conference, and a recipient of the Eastside Initiative Grant in 2025.
Another new work, The Path to Catherine, about the true backstory of the young girl who would become Catherine the Great, was produced by Write Act Repertory in 2022 at Los Angeles’s Brick House Theater, where it ran for six weeks. An album of selected tracks from The Path to Catherine was later released on Center Stage Records with producer Adrian Cota and Broadway performers Caitlin Kinnunen, Krystina Alabado, and Sharon Wilkins. Jan also won the L.A. Scenie Award for Best Music Director in the 2019–2020 and 2022–2023 seasons and was nominated for an L.A. Drama Critics Circle Award in 2023 for Best Music Direction.
Hector Guerrero has traveled throughout the world as a director, choreographer, performer, and master teacher, working extensively in film, television, theatre, and opera. He is one of the few artists approved by the Robbins Rights Trust to reproduce Jerome Robbins’s West Side Story, which he has staged throughout the United States, in China, and for the Shakespeare Festival. In New York City, he choreographed Gimme A Break! (Transport Group) and Concert of Excellence (Lincoln Center). At the Hollywood Bowl, he served as assistant choreographer for its production of A Chorus Line.
Other director and choreographer credits include, internationally, Big Fish (China premiere), Chicago, The Drowsy Chaperone, and Hair; regionally, A Chorus Line, Bye Bye Birdie, Evita, 42nd Street, In the Heights, My Fair Lady, Oliver, Singin’ in the Rain, and White Christmas. His additional credits include television: Live with Regis and Kelly; commercials: Scope (with Ryan Seacrest); and opera: Carmen. He is currently a professor at UCLA.
Toni Lorene Baker is a Houston native and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a BA in musical theatre. She was a Top 16 contestant on season 28 of The Voice as part of Snoop Dogg’s team. Toni has performed internationally as the lead vocalist of the Rolling Stone Lounge Band aboard Holland America Line and appeared as Babe in Foxy Ladies Love Boogie: 70s Explosion, a Hollywood Fringe Festival award-winning production.
Additional credits include The Drowsy Chaperone (Trix the Aviatrix), Footloose (Ariel Moore), and All Shook Up (Lorraine). She can also be heard as Cody’s Mom and the Doctor on the children’s musical series CoComelon. Toni is excited to make her Theatre West debut.
DC Carver is a singer-songwriter, poet, author, and musicologist. She has performed with choirs, orchestras, and percussion ensembles, and she recently performed her original songs at the 29th Annual Arizona Songwriters Gathering. She taught music at UC Santa Barbara and is a guest speaker for numerous music industry panels and presentations.
After completing a PhD in music, she relocated to Los Angeles and, over the past three decades, has been involved in more than 500 film and television projects. DC is thrilled to be part of this talented ensemble of creators and performers.
Annie Miller is a passionate twelve-year-old performer who has appeared in a wide range of roles across Southern California theatre. She most recently performed in Annie (Annie) at the San Gabriel Mission Playhouse. Other favorite roles include Matilda (Matilda), The Wizard of Oz (Glinda), and Shrek (Young Fiona). Annie trains in musical theatre, dance, and voice, and is a member of the National Children’s Chorus Premier Ensemble. In addition to performing, she loves tennis, swimming, and spending time with her family.
Beto Ruiz is a Mexican American SAG-AFTRA actor, voice-over artist, and host based in Los Angeles. Born in Tijuana and bilingual in English and Spanish, he left medical school in his fourth year to pursue his passion for acting, later training at the New York Film Academy and the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. His work spans film, television, theatre, voice-over, and commercial campaigns. Screen credits include appearances on Milagros de Navidad and America’s Most Wanted, as well as leading roles in independent films screened at international festivals including Cannes and the Monaco Film Festival.
In voice-over, Beto narrated the Spanish audiobook edition of Coco and has recorded projects for Audible. He also hosted Universo Vice, produced by Vice Media for NBCUniversal’s Universo network, and has appeared in more than 50 national television and radio commercials worldwide. A member of Theatre West, Beto is passionate about advocacy work and has participated in public service campaigns and music videos supporting LGBTQ+ visibility and raising awareness about the crystal meth epidemic. When he is not performing, he is happiest traveling the world.
